Dental Assistant - Mountainside Family Dental - Westfield, NJ

We are a family-oriented dental office in Mountainside, NJ in search of a Dental Assistant. Our small, dedicated team works closely together to facilitate quality care to our patients. Our practice provides all types of dental treatments at our state-of-the-art, beautiful recently renovated facility. We have an in-house orthodontist as well. As a Dental Assistant, you'll play a key role in supporting both our patients and our doctors during clinical procedures. Eager to learn, grow, and gain hands-on experience Organized, reliable, and takes initiative Open to feedback and always up for learning something new A team player with a friendly, positive attitude In this role, you’ll be expected to: Assist during a wide range of dental treatments Take dental X-rays Keep the operatory prepped, clean, and patient-ready Support smooth patient flow and ensure handoffs go seamlessly Handle sterilization and infection control protocols Use digital intraoral scanning technology Collaborate with the team to create great patient experiences Requirements for this role: Strong communication and a warm, professional demeanor Passion for growing your skills and confidence in the field Teamwork mindset CDA or X-ray license required (or in progress) Since we are a busy, multi-specialty office, so you’ll get to work with a variety of procedures and really build your skillset.
