Permanent Dental Assistant Job in Dallas, TX

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled, motivated, and patient-focused Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our growing dental practice. The ideal candidate will be bilingual in English and Spanish, able to communicate effectively with a diverse patient population, and committed to providing exceptional clinical and patient care. This role is essential in supporting the dentist, ensuring clinical efficiency, and enhancing the overall patient experience. Key Responsibilities Clinical Duties Assist the dentist during general, cosmetic, restorative, surgical, and endodontic procedures Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials prior to patient appointments Take and process dental X-rays in compliance with state regulations Perform chairside assisting, including four-handed dentistry Apply topical anesthetics, sealants, fluoride, and temporary restorations (as permitted by state law) Take impressions, pour models, and fabricate temporary crowns Sterilize and disinfect instruments and operatories following OSHA and CDC guidelines Patient Care Greet and escort patients; ensure comfort before, during, and after procedures Communicate clearly with patients in both English and Spanish, including explanations of procedures and post-op instructions Educate patients on oral hygiene, treatment plans, and preventive care Address patient questions and concerns with professionalism and empathy Maintain accurate patient records and clinical notes Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, infection control, and safety protocols Qualifications & Requirements Current Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license in the state of practice Fluent or conversational proficiency in both English and Spanish (required) CPR/BLS certification Knowledge of dental instruments, procedures, and infection control standards Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills Experience with dental software (Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental, or similar) Previous experience in a general or multi-specialty dental practice.
