Registered Dental Hygienist - Paul D. Davin, D.D.S. - Belmont, MA

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Registered Dental Hygienist to join our privately owned family dental practice. Monday - Thursday, 8am- 5pm. ( Can be flexible if needed), 1 hour recalls, PTO (vacation & sick time, paid holidays) The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care, perform thorough dental cleanings, and support overall oral health initiatives. This role requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively within a team. Duties Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including prophylaxis and periodontal therapy Conduct patient assessments, including vital signs and medical history review Take and develop medical imaging as needed for diagnosis and treatment planning Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies Assist with chairside procedures, including four-handed dentistry techniques Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations Review medical records and ensure proper documentation review for treatment planning Follow infection control protocols using aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety Support general dentistry procedures by assisting with dental assisting tasks and documentation review Manage patient flow efficiently while ensuring comfort and safety during visits Experience Strong understanding of dental terminology, medical coding, and documentation standards Experience with infection control practices, aseptic technique, and anatomy knowledge related to oral health Ability to perform vital signs measurement, medical imaging, and patient assessment accurately Prior experience in general dentistry or dental clinic environments is highly desirable Certification as a Registered Dental Hygienist in accordance with state licensing requirements This position offers an engaging work environment where patient care quality is prioritized.
