We are looking for a dedicated Hygiene Assistant to help launch our brand-new, high-tech location in Hutto, Texas . The Role & Schedule As a Hygiene Assistant, you are the engine of the clinical department. You will work closely with our Registered Dental Hygienists and Doctors to provide a seamless, high-tech experience for every patient. We are building our patient base from the ground up and are looking for a foundational team member who is excited to grow with us. Key Responsibilities: Initial Schedule: 3 days per week. Growth Path: This position will transition to 4 days per week (typically MondayâThursday) as the patient schedule gradually fills. 5-Star Patient Experience: Greet patients by name and ensure they feel comfortable from check-in to check-out. Advanced Imaging: Capture high-quality diagnostic photos and x-rays (Nomad, Panoramic, CBCT) to support our doctorsâ "see-it-to-believe-it" diagnostic approach. Clinical Support: Perform coronal polishing, apply pit and fissure sealants, and assist with periodontal charting. Digital Ecosystem Mastery: Utilize Open Dental for charting and Kasper for unified patient communication. Sterilization & Flow: Manage room turnover, instrument sterilization (autoclave/ultrasonic), and maintain a pristine clinical environment. Qualifications Certification: Active Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license in the state of Texas. Skills: Proficiency in digital x-rays, intraoral scanning (iTero/Primescan), coronal polishing, and periodontal charting. Personality: A "5-star" personality with exceptional communication skills and a team-first mentality.
