Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our reputable dental practice. The ideal candidate will support the dentist in providing exceptional patient care, ensuring efficient clinic operations, and maintaining the highest standards of infection control and patient safety. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with exposure to various aspects of dental care, including general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, prosthodontics, and endodontics. The Dental Assistant will play a vital role in assisting with dental procedures, managing medical documentation, and ensuring patient comfort throughout their visit. Duties Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments following aseptic techniques and infection control protocols Assist dentists during procedures such as chairside assisting, taking vital signs, and medical imaging including X-rays Provide patient education on dental procedures, oral hygiene, and post-treatment care Take accurate medical documentation and records, including medical history and dental terminology Operate dental equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to infection control standards Maintain a clean and organized work environment conducive to efficient practice operations Experience Prior experience working in a dental setting at least 1-2 years Proficiency in taking X-rays Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 28.0 â 32.0 per week Work Location: In person
