Job Summary Join our dynamic dental team as a Dental Assistant DA/RDA, where your expertise will directly contribute to providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dental practitioners. Responsibilities Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and materials, ensuring all equipment is sterilized and ready for procedures Assist dentists during various treatments including general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry, providing efficient chairside support Take and develop X-ray images following proper aseptic techniques and infection control protocols Manage patient records accurately using EMR systems such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations Educate patients on dental procedures, post-treatment care, and oral health maintenance in a friendly and professional manner Monitor vital signs and medical history documentation to support safe treatment planning Support administrative tasks including scheduling appointments as a dental receptionist and maintaining medical documentation Qualifications Valid Dental Assistant certification (DA) or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license required Proven experience in dental assisting within a clinical setting, preferably with pediatric dentistry experience Proficiency in EMR systems such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft; familiarity with Epic is a plus Knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, and anatomy relevant to dental procedures Skilled in X-ray imaging, medical imaging techniques, and 3D scanner operation for comprehensive diagnostics Strong understanding of infection control practices, aseptic technique, and sterilization procedures Ability to perform vital signs measurement and assist with chairside procedures across multiple specialties including prosthodontics and endodontics Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain treatments clearly to patients of all ages Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and experience managing medical records securely This role is ideal for motivated individuals passionate about delivering high-quality dental care while supporting the overall patient experience.
