We are searching for a full-time Dental Assistant to work in our Mooresville and Statesville, NC, offices! We are looking for a team player who is self-motivated to ensure excellent patient care and lift administrative and basic dental tasks off the dentistâs shoulders. Responsibilities Welcome patients to our dental office Prepare patients for treatments or checkups ensuring their comfort Select and set up instruments, equipment and materials needed Sterilize instruments according to regulations Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry Undertake lab tasks as instructed Keep operatory rooms clean and well-stocked Coordinate with front desk on patient treatment plans and appointments Maintain accurate patient records in Open Dental software Communicate with patients during procedures and post-op Qualifications Proven experience as dental assistant Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods Understanding of health & safety regulations Good computer skills/experience in dental software Excellent communication and people skills Well-organized and reliable High school diploma; dental assisting program is preferred Dental x-ray certification Expected Hours Monday-Thursday: 8:30 am - 5:00 pm with one-hour lunch Friday: 7:30 am - 1:00 pm Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $20.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance On-the-job training Professional development assistance Profit sharing Uniform allowance Experience: Dental assisting: 1 year (Preferred) Work Location: In person
