Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. We will offer a "sign on" bonus after the first six months of employment for the qualified candidate. Responsibilities Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and setting up necessary materials. Take and develop X-rays as required, adhering to safety protocols. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Manage inventory of dental supplies and equipment, placing orders as needed. Provide support in pediatric dentistry, ensuring a comfortable experience for young patients. Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures. Experience Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred but not required; we welcome candidates eager to learn. Familiarity with dental terminology and systems is essential for effective communication within the team. Knowledge of aseptic techniques and infection control protocols is highly desirable. Experience in pediatrics or endodontics will be considered an asset.
