Dental Assistant (Atleast 3 years Exp) - Lee Dental & Facial - Englewood Cliffs, NJ

We are seeking a digitally oriented , reliable, and patient-focused Dental Assistant to join our modern dental practice in New Jersey. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with digital dental technology and supports the dentist during clinical procedures while helping deliver an efficient, high-quality patient experience. This is a part-time position working Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Responsibilities Assist the dentist during general, cosmetic, and/or specialty dental procedures. Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials prior to patient appointments. Take digital dental X-rays in compliance with New Jersey regulations. Utilize digital tools such as intraoral scanners, digital charts, and imaging software. Sterilize and disinfect instruments and operatories following OSHA and CDC guidelines Seat patients, review medical histories, and ensure patient comfort Provide post-operative instructions and patient education as directed Maintain accurate electronic patient records Manage dental supplies and monitor inventory Follow all HIPAA, OSHA, and New Jersey state dental regulations Qualifications Dental Assistant certification preferred (per New Jersey regulations) X-ray certification required or willingness to obtain Comfortable using digital dental systems and technology Experience with digital charting, imaging, and intraoral scanners preferred CPR/BLS certification preferred Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills Positive attitude and professional demeanor Schedule Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday Hours to be discussed based on office needs Pay: $24.67 - $29.72 per hour Expected hours: 30 – 35 per week Experience: Dental assisting: 3 years (Required) License/Certification: Driver's License (Required) Work Location: In person
