Immediate opening on Mondays and Thursdays for a part time DENTAL ASSISTANT for an active endodontic practice. X-ray license is a must. Full time potential. DENTAL ASSISTANT PRIMARY DUTIES Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments Hand instruments and materials to dentists during procedures Take dental x-rays Provide post-operative instructions to patients Record treatment information in patient records Patient Care: DENTAL ASSISTANT Greet and prepare patients for treatments and procedures Ensure patient comfort and answer questions about dental procedures Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care Required Skills & Qualifications Dental Assistant Certification (varies by state/country) Radiography certification Strong knowledge of dental terminology and instruments Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Organizational skills and attention to detail Basic computer proficiency (for dental software and recordkeeping) Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) Health insurance Paid time off Experience: DENTAL ASSISTING: 2 years (Required) License/Certification: X-RAY LICENSE (Required) Ability to Commute: Clifton, NJ 07013 (Required) Work Location: In person
