Full-Time | Part Time | Modern Dental Office | Career Growth Role This position goes beyond a standard front desk job. We are seeking a Front Office Coordinator & Dental Assistant who is professional, organized, and confident working with people and systems. This role is central to the daily flow of the practice and is ideal for someone who enjoys structure, responsibility, and a fast-moving environment. Previous Dental experience and experience in Dentrix Ascend is a* plus.* We provide thorough training. What matters most is your ability to communicate clearly, stay organized, and guide patients through appointments, treatment discussions, insurance questions, and payment processes. Responsibilities FRONT DESK Deliver a professional and welcoming experience from initial contact through check-out Manage high-volume phone calls and schedule appointments accurately Check patients in and assist with next steps during their visit Review treatment recommendations and help explain insurance and financial details Collect copays and payments in a clear and professional manner Keep patient records accurate and well-organized across office systems Coordinate closely with clinical and leadership teams to support daily operations Anticipate needs and help prevent scheduling or workflow issues DENTAL ASSISTANT Assist the dentist during clinical procedures, including restorative, surgical, and preventive treatments Prepare treatment rooms before patients and ensure proper cleanup and turnover after procedures Take diagnostic X-rays and intraoral photos as required Accurately chart procedures, notes, and clinical information in Dentrix Ascend Assign correct ADA codes and ensure treatments are properly documented Maintain strict infection control, sterilization, and OSHA compliance Set up and break down trays and instruments according to procedure Support case flow by ensuring lab cases, materials, and documentation are properly handled Communicate professionally with patients before, during, and after treatment Assist front desk or clinical team as needed to keep operations running smoothly Follow office protocols, workflows, and clinical standards consistently Ideal Candidates Will Be Bilingual in Spanish is a must. Confident communicators, both over the phone and face-to-face Detail-focused and comfortable working on computers Organized, dependable, and able to juggle multiple tasks Comfortable discussing financial topics and insurance information Motivated to build a long-term career, not just a short-term job What We Offer Full-time role with reliable hours Prior experience is a plus.
