Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate General Dentist to join our dynamic dental team. Duties Provide comprehensive dental care including examinations, diagnoses, treatment planning, and restorative procedures. Perform dental procedures such as dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, and oral surgery with precision and adherence to aseptic techniques. Utilize dental terminology effectively to communicate treatment plans and educate patients on oral health practices. Maintain accurate medical documentation and medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and office protocols. Operate dental equipment and utilize dental fabrication techniques to restore or replace teeth as needed. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient four-handed dentistry practices that enhance patient comfort and treatment efficiency. Conduct patient assessments, including medical history review and clinical examinations, to develop personalized treatment plans. Ensure infection control standards are rigorously followed to maintain a safe clinical environment. Use dental imaging technology and knowledge of anatomy to diagnose conditions accurately and plan appropriate interventions. Stay current with advancements in general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, and other specialties relevant to patient care. Requirements Valid state license to practice dentistry with eligibility for licensure as an Associate General Dentist. Proven experience in dental office settings or dental clinics demonstrating proficiency in general dentistry procedures. Familiarity with electronic health records systems such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix preferred. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, medical imaging, and anatomy relevant to dental practice. Experience performing pediatric dentistry procedures and managing pediatric patients is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills for effective patient education and team collaboration. Knowledge of infection control protocols and aseptic techniques essential for maintaining a safe clinical environment. Ability to perform dental extractions, root canal therapy, endodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery competently.
