Permanent Dental Hygienist Job in Tarrytown, NY
We're looking for a registered dental hygienist to join our growing team! Youâll complete initial patient screenings, conduct dental cleanings, and assist dentists with examinations and procedures. Compensation: $60 - $75 hourly Responsibilities: Advise patients on how to properly care for their teeth after a procedure or operation Record any changes to the patientâs health history and document the ongoings of each appointment Look for signs of gum disease, infections, or cavities to ensure issues are caught early and can be treated Make impressions of patientsâ teeth to ensure their mouthguards, dentures, etc. are made correctly Talk to patients and make sure they feel comfortable and taken care of before, during, and after the examination Qualifications: In-depth knowledge of dental safety regulations and HIPAA regulations Possesses a state license to practice dental hygiene Excellent communication and customer service skills Physical stamina to stand for up to 8 hours at a time Valid CPR certification About Company We are a group specialty practice aiming to deliver the best patient experience every day.
