Dental Office Treatment Coordinator / Front Desk Coordinator - Precision Periodontics and Implant Dentistry - Houston, TX

Precision Periodontics & Implant Dentistry is seeking a professional, friendly, and reliable Treatment Coordinator / Front Desk Coordinator to join our specialty periodontal and implant practice. Key Responsibilities Patient Experience & Front Desk Warmly greet patients and manage check-in/check-out Answer phones and return messages promptly and professionally Schedule appointments and help keep doctor and hygienist schedules full Scan documents and maintain accurate digital charts Communicate and coordinate professionally with referring general dentists Treatment Coordination & Financial Presentation Prepare and present treatment plans clearly and confidently Accurately estimate and explain patient financial responsibility using verified insurance benefits Verify insurance benefits for existing patients Understand primary vs. secondary coverage and proper estimating of patient out-of-pocket expenses Explain CareCredit and Cherry financing options Follow up with patients who have unscheduled treatment in an organized, professional manner Insurance Communication (Important) Our practice is PPO-heavy and actively renegotiating insurance contracts to better reflect specialty-level care. During this transition: Some plans may be temporarily out of network We will honor patient costs comparable to their PPO benefits by estimating appropriately This requires calm, confident, professional explanations to patients You will be supported with training, scripts, and management guidance, but strong communication skills and comfort discussing insurance and finances are essential. What This Role Does Not Include No insurance claim submission No Accounts Receivables management No chasing unpaid claims Billing, claims, and A/R are handled by an external professional billing team, allowing this role to focus on patients and smooth office management.
