Dental Benâs in Peoria, AZ is searching for a friendly dental assistant to fill a position in our privately owned, single location, general dental office. If you are competent, organized, friendly, energetic, dependable dental assistant looking to work in a state-of-the-art practice? Then we need you! Candidates should be knowledgeable in all areas of general dental assisting, sterilization practices and OSHA protocol. We are searching for a lead-assistant office, who isnât afraid of a lot of responsibility that goes along with being a part of our team! (Lead experience preferred, but not required) The position is full-time about 32 hours per week. We are open Monday through Thursday. Responsibilities Prepare patients for treatments ensuring their comfort Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed Sterilize instruments according to regulations Assist the dentist as needed Undertake lab tasks as instructed Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions Keep the dental office clean and well-stocked Schedule appointments Maintain accurate patient records Scan and take intra-oral photographs Take accurate radiographs Skills Proven experience as dental assistant Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods Understanding of health & safety regulations Good computer skills, DENTRIX ASCEND (preferably) Excellent communication and people skills Attention to detail Cord packing, making temporary crowns Registered dental assistant certification Radiograph Certified Coronal Polishing Job Type: Full-time Work Location: In person
