Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. Responsibilities Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety. Prepare and sterilize instruments, equipment, and treatment areas in compliance with infection control protocols. Take dental x-rays Maintain accurate medical documentation and medical records in accordance with HIPAA regulations. Take and record vital signs as needed, ensuring all patient information is up-to-date. Utilize dental software such as Opendental for scheduling appointments and managing patient records. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality patient care. Utilize computer Experience Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate. Familiarity with medical documentation, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance is essential. Knowledge of infection control practices within a dental setting is highly desirable.
