Moreno Valley Dental Care is looking to hire a Dental Assistant (DA), Full time, to assist our team. We provide general dental services where quality care and excellent teamwork are our focus. Familiarity with most aspects of dentistry required. Individual must have positive attitude, a great work ethic, and a team player. Job Duties You will organize and maintain equipment, take X-rays and provide comprehensive care to patients. Additional responsibilities of the Dental Assistant include: Responsible for assisting with diagnostic procedures Take Radiographs Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and tray setups for dental procedures Greet and prepare patients for treatment Assist the dentist during examinations and input treatment plans correctly Record medical and dental histories and vital signs of patient Record treatment information in patient records Participate in the achievement of patient satisfaction and office production goals by working efficiently and providing a high level of patient service Assist in the scheduling of appointments, remind patients of appointments, and reschedule appointments as needed Assist with other office duties as requested Additional requirements for the Dental Assistant include: Current CPR Certificate Current X-ray Certificate Ability to take proper diagnostic radiographs Prefer 2 years of experience in a dental practice Fluent in Spanish and English Proficient working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology Ability to build good rapport with patients Computer proficiency and the ability to learn new programs.
