Dental Assistant/EDDA We are a growing, patient centered, privately owned single doctor practice looking for a motivated dental assistant to join our awesome team! The ideal candidate has experience (EDDA bonus), is energetic, is comfortable with direct patient care, has ordering experience, maintaining equipment, etc. We are looking for a full-time assistant , 4 days a week Monday-Thursday Pay negotiable based on experience and skills Responsibilities include: -Welcome patients in the dental office, health history screening, etc -Prepare patients for treatment -Set up operatory for treatment, instruments, equipment and materials -Assist the dentist chairside -Sterilization -Provide post-operative care instructions -Cleaning and stocking rooms -Schedule appointments -Maintain accurate patient records and assist the admin team when needed Skills -Proven experience as dental assistant -Good Chairside -Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods -Understanding of health & safety regulations -Make impressions, pour models, bite registration, etc -Fabricate provisional crowns -Ability to perform regulated non-surgical tasks like coronal polishing is a major plus -Good computer skills -Excellent communication and people skills -Attention to detail -Well-organized and reliable -Monitoring and tracking lab cases -High school diploma; graduating from dental assistant school is preferred -Additional certification or training is an asset (e.g. EDDA) -CBCT and PrimeScan knowledge is a plus -Familiarity with OpenDental and Dexis is helpful Pay Range - $27-$31 an hour Job Type: Full-time Pay: $27.00 - $31.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) Employee discount Experience: Dental assisting: 3 years (Required) License/Certification: X-Ray Certification (Preferred) Work Location: In person
