Responsibilities: ***MUST BE ABLE TO PERFORM WELL UNDER FAST PACED AND DEMANDING ATMOSPHERE AS THIS IS PRACTICE IS VERY BUSY ON A DAILY BASIS*** - Assist the dentist during all types of dental procedures - Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment efficiently - Take and develop dental x-rays - Perform dental charting and maintain accurate medical documentation - Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures - Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care - Assist with dental receptionist duties as needed - Maintain infection control protocols and ensure a clean and safe environment - Provide patient assessment and support during dental treatments Requirements: - MUST HAVE EXPERT LEVEL EXPERIENCE WITH: Intraoral scanning for ALL implant and non-implant restoration cases! - MUST HAVE: Ability to multitask and work in a FAST-PACED ENVIRONMENT!!! - Dental assisting certification or relevant experience - Proficiency in medical terminology and dental procedures - Knowledge of dental anatomy and systems - Ability to take accurate dental x-rays - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written - Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail - Strong interpersonal skills to interact with patients of all ages - Knowledge of infection control protocols and practices Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
