Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Certified Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. Responsibilities Assist dentists during a wide range of dental procedures, including restorative, endodontic, prosthodontic, and pediatric treatments Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available Take and develop dental X-rays using digital imaging technology while adhering to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques. Open Dental versed. Manage patient records accurately within Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or Epic, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations Monitor vital signs and medical history documentation to support safe treatment planning for patients with complex health needs Provide excellent customer service as a dental receptionist by scheduling appointments and managing patient inquiries Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment following infection control standards and anatomy knowledge for safe practice Support four-handed dentistry by working efficiently alongside the dentist to optimize patient comfort and treatment flow Assist with medical imaging procedures using advanced tools like 3D scanners when necessary for comprehensive diagnosis Skills Proven experience in dental assisting within a busy dental clinic environment, including general dentistry and specialized fields such as pediatric dentistry or prosthodontics Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, and medical coding for accurate documentation and billing Proficiency with EMR systems such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or Epic for managing medical records and documentation seamlessly Expertise in infection control practices, aseptic technique, and maintaining a sterile clinical environment Ability to perform X-ray procedures confidently while adhering to safety standards Familiarity with dental equipment including 3D scanners and other medical imaging tools Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages, especially pediatrics, ensuring comfort and understanding throughout treatment processes Join us in delivering top-tier dental care!
