Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our reputable dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages, utilizing advanced techniques and technology. The Associate Dentist will be responsible for diagnosing dental conditions, developing treatment plans, and performing a wide range of dental procedures with precision and professionalism. Duties Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical and dental histories, oral examinations, and diagnostic imaging using digital tools. Diagnose dental issues utilizing medical terminology and dental terminology knowledge to develop effective treatment plans. Perform various dental procedures such as dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, and endodontics with proficiency in aseptic technique and infection control protocols. Utilize dental fabrication techniques for crowns, bridges, and other restorations. Implement patient care strategies that prioritize comfort, safety, and satisfaction while adhering to HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards. Operate and manage electronic health records using software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix efficiently. Educate patients on oral health practices and post-treatment care to promote long-term oral wellness. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure seamless clinic operations and maintain high standards of infection control and medical records management. Stay current with advancements in dentistry through continuous education and training opportunities. Experience Proven experience working in a dental office or clinic setting with familiarity in general dentistry procedures. Experience with pediatric dentistry is preferred; familiarity with treating pediatric patients is a plus. Competency in performing oral surgery procedures including dental extractions. Skilled in four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency and patient comfort. Knowledge of medical imaging techniques relevant to dentistry. Experience with dental office software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix is highly desirable. Demonstrated understanding of HIPAA compliance, medical terminology, anatomy knowledge related to the oral cavity, infection control practices, and medical documentation standards.
