Permanent Dental Assistant Job in Palmer, MA
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and licensed Dental Assistant to join our private dental practice. The ideal candidate will support our dental team in providing high-quality patient care while ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow within the clinic. Hours will be just Tuesdays and Thursdays 8:30am-4pm working side by side with one general dentist in a small family orientated practice. LOOKING TO HIRE IMMEDIATELY. Responsibilities Assist the dentist during various procedures, ensuring a comfortable environment for patients. Prepare and maintain dental instruments and equipment, adhering to infection control protocols. Perform X-rays and other medical imaging as required, ensuring accurate documentation. Manage patient records, including medical documentation and treatment plans, using software such as Dentrix. Requirements Proven experience in dental assisting. Familiarity with dental Dentrix software is preferred. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills are essential for maintaining accurate records and ensuring patient safety. Certification/License in dental assisting and OSHA/HIPAA certification. Job Type: Part-time Pay: $26.00 - $28.00 per hour Work Location: In person
