Permanent Dental Assistant Job in Oxford, MI
```Duties``` - Assist the dentist during dental procedures - Prepare treatment rooms and equipment for patient use - Take digital x=rays and digital panorex - Perform some dental receptionist duties, such as scheduling appointments and maintaining patient records - Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care - Sterilize dental instruments and equipment, including maintenance and monitoring - Assist with dental laboratory procedures, such as pouring and trimming models ```Requirements``` - Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or similar role - Knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and sterilization methods - Familiarity with dental software systems for patient scheduling and record keeping - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills - Certification in Dental Assisting preferred but not mandatory Skills: - Experience in assisting in pediatrics, oral surgery, crown/bridge, restorative and implant restorative procedures - Medical records updates and take patients vitals - Dental assisting and chairside patient charting into dental software system - digital x-rays - Medical documentation - digital intraoral scanning -OSHA/HIPAA compliant Summary The Dental Assistant position requires a diverse skill set to support the dental team in providing high-quality patient care.
