Overview: Our practice is looking for a skilled and dedicated dental hygienist to join our team. Our ideal fit would be motivated, energetic, have a great work ethic and a team player. Full or part time option available. Duties: - Conduct dental cleanings and assist dentists during examinations - Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices - Take and develop dental x-rays - Administer fluoride treatments and apply sealants - Perform periodontal charting and maintain patient records - Assist with anesthesia administration and monitoring during procedures Qualifications: - Valid Dental Hygienist license - Proficiency in HIPAA regulations and compliance - Knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, and anatomy - Familiarity with aseptic techniques and infection control protocols - Ability to take vital signs accurately - Experience with pediatric patients is a plus - Understanding of general dentistry procedures and medical coding Joining our team offers competitive compensation, opportunities for professional growth, and a supportive work environment.
