Specialty Dental Assistants -Perio, Endo, Oral Surgery- Reno Nevada - Absolute Dental - Reno, NV

Absolute Dental is seeking two Specialty Dental Assistants to support our Periodontics (Perio), Endodontics (Endo), and Oral Surgery (OS) lines of business in Northern Nevada. This position will primarily support the Perio department; however, team members will float to other specialty departments and/or GP clinics when Perio is not in clinic. This role requires experienced, flexible dental assistants who are comfortable working in multiple clinical environments and traveling between locations as needed. ________________________________________ Essential Duties & Responsibilities Provide chairside assistance for Perio, Endo, and Oral Surgery procedures Prepare and break down operatories and specialty surgical setups Maintain sterilization, infection control, and OSHA compliance standards Assist providers with patient care before, during, and after procedures Ensure accurate charting and clinical documentation Support clinic flow and enhance patient experience Float to OS or GP clinics when Perio is not scheduled Travel between Northern Nevada locations as assigned ________________________________________ Required Qualifications Minimum 1–2 years of dental assisting experience Specialty experience (Perio, OS, and/or Endo) strongly preferred Active Nevada Dental Assistant credentials (as required by state guidelines Preferred) X-ray certification (if applicable) Ability to adapt to different providers, schedules, and clinic environments Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills Willingness and ability to travel for work ________________________________________ Preferred Qualifications Bilingual (English/Spanish) Multi-specialty dental experience ________________________________________ Schedule Specialty-based schedule (Perio clinics may be limited to specific days per month) Assigned to other specialty or GP clinics when Perio is not in session ________________________________________ Compensation Competitive pay based on experience $21-$28 HR
