Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Endodontist to join our reputable dental practice. Responsibilities Perform endodontic treatments including root canal therapy, retreatments, and apicoectomy procedures with precision and care. Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans tailored to individual needs. Utilize dental imaging techniques such as medical imaging to diagnose and plan effective interventions. Maintain accurate medical documentation and dental records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Apply aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to ensure a sterile environment during all procedures. Collaborate with general dentists, pediatric dentists, and other specialists to coordinate comprehensive patient care. Educate patients on endodontic procedures, post-treatment care, and oral health maintenance. Stay current with advancements in endodontics, dental terminology, and related medical terminology to provide cutting-edge treatment. Skills Proficiency in dental software such as Dentrix for documentation and patient management. Extensive knowledge of anatomy, dental fabrication, dental extractions, prosthodontics, and general dentistry principles. Strong understanding of infection control practices and aseptic techniques within a dental setting. Experience with medical imaging technologies relevant to endodontics. Ability to perform pediatric dentistry procedures when necessary; experience in pediatrics is a plus. Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach to patient assessment and treatment planning. Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and medical records management. Skilled in root canal therapy, dental terminology, medical terminology, and the use of dental office equipment for efficient practice operations. Four-handed dentistry experience is preferred for efficient procedure delivery in a team-oriented environment.
