Who we are looking for: The ideal candidate would support our office vision, provide excellent dental care to our patients, and be an oral hygiene leader for the office. Duties: - Perform routine dental hygiene services including teeth cleanings, scaling, and polishing to prevent tooth decay and periodontal disease. - Conduct oral examinations to identify any potential oral health issues. - Take and develop dental X-rays as needed. - Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical and dental histories. - Collaborate with dentists to develop treatment plans for patients with dental problems. - Utilize electronic dental records system Dentrix. - Provide patient education on proper oral hygiene techniques and oral health care. - Maintain a clean and organized dental clinic environment, adhering to infection control protocols. - Participate in continuing education to stay current with the latest advancements in dental hygiene and technology. Qualifications: - Associate's degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program. - Current licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) in the state of Pennsylvania. - Strong understanding of dental terminology and dental imaging principles. - Proficiency with dental clinic management software, Dentrix. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with patients of all ages. - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour based on experience.
