Permanent Dental Assistant Job in Sioux Falls, SD
Job Description: Dell Rapids Dental Clinic is seeking a skilled and experienced Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting the dentist during patient procedures and ensuring that the clinic runs smoothly. You will also be responsible for providing patients with a high level of care and customer service. Responsibilities: Assist the dentist during patient procedures, including taking and developing x-rays, sterilizing instruments, and preparing materials and equipment. Provide patients with information about dental procedures and educate them on good oral hygiene practices. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including sterilization and cleaning of equipment and instruments. Schedule appointments and maintain patient records. Manage inventory and order supplies as needed. Perform other duties as assigned by the dentist or office manager. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. Completion of an accredited dental assistant program preferred. Current CPR certification. At least 1 year of experience as a dental assistant preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
