Utilize dental terminology accurately to communicate diagnoses and treatment plans effectively with patients and team members. Implement infection control protocols adhering to HIPAA regulations and aseptic techniques to maintain a safe clinical environment. Manage medical documentation meticulously within electronic health record systems such as Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or similar platforms. Educate patients on oral health practices, treatment options, and preventive care strategies tailored to pediatric dentistry or general dentistry needs. Collaborate with team members in four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency and patient comfort during procedures. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of anatomy, medical imaging techniques, dental fabrication processes, and current best practices in dental care. Experience Proven experience working in a dental clinic or dental office setting with a strong foundation in general dentistry procedures. Familiarity with electronic health record systems such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix is highly preferred. Demonstrated ability to perform dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, endodontics, and oral surgery procedures confidently. Knowledge of pediatric dentistry principles and experience caring for pediatric patients is a plus. Strong understanding of medical terminology, infection control standards, and HIPAA compliance requirements. Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs thoroughly and communicate effectively.
