Job Summary We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Part-Time Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation of the dental clinic. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, efficient, have strong interpersonal skills to ensure excellent patient care and support for our clinical team. You will assist dentists during procedures, manage patient records, and maintain a clean and organized work environment. A strong understanding of dental terminology, procedures, and patient care is essential for success in this role. Responsibilities Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) Record patient medical history and dental charting Ensure patient comfort before, during, and after procedures Maintain inventory of dental supplies and reorder as needed Follow all infection control and OSHA guidelines Requirements Previous experience as a Dental Assistant in a clinical setting is REQUIRED. Proficiency with Open Dental experience is highly desirable.
