Flexible Hours - Mobile - Salt Lake County Dentacor is a Utah-based mobile dental organization providing Medicaid-covered dental care to underserved communities, including homeless shelters, correctional facilities, and community sites across Salt Lake County. We are seeking a licensed Dental Assistant to support our mobile clinical teams by performing digital x-rays and intraoral scans at multiple locations. This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable working independently, adaptable in non-traditional settings, and motivated by mission-driven healthcare. Key Responsibilities Take diagnostic digital x-rays using portable/mobile equipment Perform intraoral scans Set up and break down mobile dental equipment at varying locations Support hygienists and dentists during mobile clinic days as needed Ensure proper infection control, sterilization, and equipment handling Accurately document clinical information in dental software Work Environment Mobile clinics at rotating locations (shelters, housing sites, community programs) In-person role requiring travel within Salt Lake County Some shifts may involve working independently at assigned sites Schedule & Compensation Flexible schedule (approximately 10–30 hours/week) Performance-based compensation Typical earnings range: $25–$60/hour, with higher earning potential based on productivity.
