Dental Assistant 2-4 days per week, M-Thurs A Rare Opportunity for a dental assistant with a strong work ethic, willingness to learn and have fun! The ideal candidate has a love for details, dental experience, and a desire to be a part of a winning team! The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent patient care skills, and proficiency with Dentrix dental software. This role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, providing exceptional dental care across general and specialized dentistry service. The Registered Dental Assistant will play a vital role in supporting our hygienist's , ensuring infection control, and maintaining accurate medical documentation. Duties Assist dentists during a wide range of dental procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and materials, ensuring aseptic technique and infection control standards are met Take quality X-rays Record vital signs and medical history, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations Educate patients on dental terminology, procedures, and post-treatment care Maintain sterilization protocols and ensure all equipment is functioning properly Assist hygiene with chairside procedures in general dentistry, Assist in scheduling appointments and managing patient flow when needed Ensure compliance with all infection control policies and safety procedures Qualifications Valid certification as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) or equivalent licensure Proven experience in dental assisting within a clinical setting; experience is a plus Proficiency with dental software systems such as Dentrix. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical coding standards Ability to perform X-ray procedures safely and accurately. Strong understanding of dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, infection control practices, and aseptic techniques Experience in chairside assisting Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients of all ages.
