Job description Our private practice is looking for a Dental Assistant to join our team family. The Orthodontic Assistant will be responsible for: Warm welcome to our patients, they are the reason we are here Patient Preparation: Prepare treatment rooms and ensure they are properly sanitized and stocked with necessary instruments and supplies. X-Ray and Imaging Orthodontic Appliance Maintenance: Assist in the fitting, adjustment, and removal of braces, retainers, and other orthodontic appliances. We specialize in Invisalign treatment, currently Diamond Status Patient Education: Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and provide instructions on caring for orthodontic appliances. Records Management: Maintain accurate patient records, treatment notes, and appointment schedules. Sterilization and Infection Control: Follow protocols for instrument sterilization and infection control to maintain a clean and safe clinical environment. Certification: Completion of an accredited Dental Assisting program, with a valid state certification.
