Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our growing family dental practice. Our office places a large emphasis on curating the best possible patient experience, while striving to provide a laid-back and comfortable environment in the dental setting. Duties Conduct thorough dental cleanings and assessments for patients of all ages, including pediatric patients. Take and document vital signs, medical imaging, and other necessary patient information accurately. Provide education to patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits. Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure proper documentation review. Implement aseptic techniques and infection control measures to maintain a safe clinical environment. Assist with chairside duties as needed, ensuring a smooth workflow within the dental office. Stay updated on dental terminology, medical coding, and EMR systems to enhance patient care delivery. Experience Candidates should possess experience in a dental office or clinic setting, with familiarity in the following areas: Proficiency in Dentrix software systems is preferred but not required. Knowledge of pediatric dentistry practices is a plus. Experience with general dentistry procedures and patient care techniques is essential. Understanding of anatomy knowledge related to dentistry and medical terminology is beneficial. Previous experience in dental assisting or related roles will be considered an advantage.
