Surgical Dental Assistant (Prosthodontics / Implant & Surgical Focus) Ozark Prosthodontics â North Little Rock, AR Full-Time | MondayâFriday | 8:00 AM â 5:00 PM Overview Ozark Prosthodontics is a respected specialty dental practice focused on complex restorative and surgical care , including dental implants and medically involved cases . We are looking for an experienced, dependable Surgical Dental Assistant who takes pride in doing things the right way, works well within a team, and thrives in an organized clinical setting. This role is not for someone who wants to âcoastâ or do the bare minimum. We need a true team playerâsomeone who is humble, reliable, highly coachable , and understands that excellence comes from repetition, consistency, and strong systems. Key Responsibilities: Clinical & Surgical Assisting Chairside assisting during prosthetic and surgical procedures. Set up and break down operatories with strict attention to sterility and infection control Assist with suctioning, retracting, instrument transfer, and patient comfort during treatment Support smooth room turnover and surgical workflow efficiency Monitor patient comfort and response throughout procedures Imaging & Digital Dentistry Take dental radiographs as needed (PAs, BWXs, pano/CBCT if trained) Assist with 3D intraoral scanning and documentation for treatment planning Patient Support & Case Readiness Confirm cases are fully ready prior to appointments (parts, labs, components) Review consents, medical history, and surgical documentation Provide clear post-op instructions and reinforce doctor recommendations Support patient flow to keep the day moving smoothly and professionally Sterilization & Systems Maintain sterile instruments and treatment rooms Follow established protocols with consistency and attention to detail Keep clinical areas clean, stocked, and organized QualificationsRequired Dental assisting experience in a clinical setting Experience assisting chairside (preferably in surgical or implant procedures) Strong professionalism, reliability, and work ethic Ability to work efficiently and follow instructions closely Strong communication and teamwork skills Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $18.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 35 per week Benefits: 401(k) Employee discount Health insurance Health savings account Life insurance On-the-job training Paid time off Ability to Commute: North Little Rock, AR 72116 (Required) Work Location: In person
