Job Summary We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant. Providing exceptional patient care. Assisting in procedures and ensuring the smooth operation of the dental office. This role requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, infection control protocol. The Dental Assistant will play a vital role in maintaining a sterile environment. Responsibilities Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, including chairside assisting and four-handed dentistry techniques. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up necessary supplies, and ensuring aseptic techniques are followed. Take dental X-rays, while adhering to HIPAA regulations and infection control standards. Record patient vital signs and medical history accurately Educate patients on dental procedures, post-treatment care, and oral health maintenance. Maintain inventory of dental supplies and equipment; ensure proper functioning of all tools. Uphold infection control standards by following proper sterilization procedures and maintaining a clean clinical environment. Skills Knowledge of dental software for medical documentation and records management. Strong understanding of dental terminology and anatomy. Experience with X-ray procedures. Familiarity with infection control protocols and aseptic techniques in a clinical setting. Ability to perform chairside assisting efficiently during various dental treatments. Excellent communication skills to educate patients effectively about procedures and oral health practices. Ability to work well within a team environment .
