We are looking for a cross trained team member who predominately functions as a EFDA and can help at the front desk when needed. We are a FFS office with an emphasis on creating an amazing experience and care for the patients. Ideal candidate will be an experienced dental assistant with at least 1 year of experience, an expanded functions certification, and x-ray certification who is looking for their forever dental home! Position will be 1-2 days a week to start with the potential for more days in the future. We are looking for just the right fit for our team! Duties: Welcome patients to the practice upon arrival for their appointments Schedule hygiene and doctor appointments for patients Check patients out and process payment Answer phones, check voicemail, return calls Maintain the office condition and arrange necessary repairs Assist in the onboarding process for new hires Submit insurance claims through online practice management system Assisting chairside Making, placing, and removing temp crowns Placing and removing sectional matrices and rubber dams Taking perfect impressions and digital scans with itero Taking diagnostic x-rays Writing chart notes (templates will be provided) Managing lab cases Managing sterilization Again, this position is predominately an EFDA, but we're looking for someone who is also comfortable helping at the front when needed.
