Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care, ensuring a smooth workflow in the clinic, and assisting the dental team with various procedures. Duties - Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments are prepared and available. - Maintain a sterile and organized work environment by following strict infection control protocols. - Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as directed by the dentist. - Perform patient intake duties, including reviewing medical history and obtaining necessary information. - Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care instructions. - Manage appointment scheduling, patient records, and billing processes while adhering to HIPAA regulations. Qualifications - Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is required. - Knowledge of infection control standards, and dental assisting techniques is essential. - Familiarity with Eaglesoft software is a plus. - Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients of all ages. - Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining professionalism.
