Responsibilities Perform a wide range of dental procedures including dental examinations, cleanings, fillings, extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, and oral surgery with precision and care Assess patient needs through thorough patient assessment and medical history review, ensuring appropriate treatment planning Utilize dental terminology accurately to communicate effectively with patients and team members Maintain detailed and compliant medical records in accordance with HIPAA regulations and clinic policies Operate dental imaging equipment safely to obtain high-quality radiographs for diagnosis Apply aseptic techniques and infection control protocols diligently to ensure patient safety and prevent cross-contamination Collaborate with dental assistants in four-handed dentistry practices to enhance efficiency and patient comfort Educate patients on oral health best practices, treatment options, and post-procedure care Stay updated on advancements in general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, and other specialties relevant to the role Requirements Valid state license to practice dentistry as an Associate Dentist with current certification in CPR/BLS Proficiency with dental software Eaglesoft for scheduling, documentation, and treatment planning Demonstrated experience in general dentistry with a focus on patient care and patient assessment skills Knowledge of pediatric dentistry principles and procedures preferred Strong understanding of dental terminology, dental imaging techniques, anatomy knowledge, and infection control standards Experience performing dental extractions, prosthodontics fabrication, and endodontic procedures is highly desirable Ability to work efficiently in a moderately fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards Excellent communication skills for explaining treatment plans clearly to patients of diverse backgrounds Join us as an Associate Dentist where your expertise will make a meaningful difference in patientsâ lives!
