JOB SUMMARY The dental assistant at LeClaire Family Dentistry is a self-motivated professional who can work well in a team environment to deliver premium dental care to patients. The candidate must have previous dental assisting experience with a demonstrated track record of great relationships and communication with patients and team members. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES - 4-handed dentistry techniques -Take digital dental radiographs -Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment -Maintain equipment and inventory -Build patient rapport and maintain relationships, provide patients with instructions before and following treatment - Assisting teammates and performing various office tasks as necessary to give our patients the best care and maintain efficient workflow REQUIREMENTS Current Iowa Dental Assisting License Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills Ability to thrive in a team environment Dedication to providing exceptional patient care PREVIOUS WORK EXPERIENCE Minimum 1 year previous experience working in a general dentistry office. Must have ample experience working chairside, completing sterilization, making radiographs, and charting.
