Orthodontic Clinical Assistant Hummel Orthodontics is looking for a positive, motivated individual whose values align with our company to provide excellent care for our patients and promote an uplifting work culture. We serve patients in 2 locations - our main office in Baton Rouge and a satellite location in Zachary. Duties: - Assist the orthodontist during procedures - Prepare stations for treatment and sterilize instruments - Take digital dental x-rays and digital scans - Fabricate essix retainers - Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and care instructions - Maintain accurate patient records and update medical history as needed Skills: - Experience in dental assisting, preferably in an orthodontic setting - Familiarity with aseptic technique and infection control protocols - Second language such as Vietnamese or Spanish Job Type: Full-time Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour Benefits: Employee discount Flexible schedule On-the-job training Paid time off Language: Vietnamese (Preferred) Spanish (Preferred) Location: Baton Rouge, LA 70816 (Preferred) Ability to Commute: Baton Rouge, LA 70816 (Required) Work Location: In person
