Position Overview: As a Dental Hygienist at Miskovich Dental Clinic, youâll play a key role in delivering exceptional patient care through routine cleanings, comprehensive assessments, and personalized education. Maintain accurate patient records: Chart periodontal findings, treatment notes, and updates to medical history. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care to support longâterm oral health Perform prophylaxis, scaling, root planning, and polishing as appropriate. Apply fluoride treatments and dental sealants as recommended Take dental xârays following safety and compliance standards and ensure diagnostic-quality imaging. Administer local anesthetics under dentist supervision in accordance with state regulations Collaborate with dentists and dental team members to provide coordinated, comprehensive patient care Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members to ensure a positive and informed experience Ensure infection control compliance: Sterilize instruments, maintain operatory cleanliness, and follow OSHA/CDC guidelines. Requirements Valid Dental Hygienist license in Minnesota Strong interpersonal and communication skills to support positive patient interactions Detailâoriented mindset with a commitment to delivering highâquality patient care Pay: From $45.00 per hour Expected hours: 8.0 â 18.0 per week Benefits: 401(k) Employee discount Health insurance Paid time off Work Location: In person
