Duties Diagnose and treat a wide range of dental conditions using advanced clinical techniques and evidence-based practices. Perform general dentistry procedures including dental examinations, restorations, crowns, bridges, and prosthodontics. Conduct complex procedures such as root canal therapy, dental extractions, oral surgery, and endodontics with precision and care. Utilize dental terminology accurately to communicate effectively with patients and team members. Implement infection control protocols adhering to HIPAA regulations and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety. Use dental imaging tools like medical imaging equipment to assess oral health and plan treatments effectively. Maintain detailed medical documentation and manage medical records in compliance with privacy standards such as HIPAA. Collaborate with the team on pediatric dentistry cases, providing specialized care for children and adolescents. Demonstrate proficiency in dental software systems including Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix for scheduling, charting, and record management. Engage in four-handed dentistry practices to optimize efficiency during procedures while ensuring patient comfort. Stay current on advances in dental technology, materials, and techniques to enhance patient outcomes. Experience Proven experience working in a fast-paced dental clinic or office environment with a strong background in general dentistry. Demonstrated expertise in pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and other specialty areas preferred. Proficiency with dental software systems such as Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix is highly desirable. Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry and oral health assessments is essential. Familiarity with infection control standards and sterilization procedures aligned with OSHA guidelines. Prior experience performing dental fabrication processes and managing complex medical documentation is advantageous. Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs thoroughly and develop personalized treatment plans.
