Job Description DENTAL ASSISTANT Smiles Forever is hiring energetic Dental Assistants. Bilingual required. DANB certified preferred. Dental Assistant Responsibilities: Greet every patient with a warm introduction, a smile and seat the patients in the treatment area. Are gentle and empathetic for our patients. Follow all Start of Day procedures. Work as part of a team with emphasis on communication providing assistance in the office with tasks such as appointment scheduling, record keeping, telephone management, and billing Work under the general supervision and guidance of a dentist Provide chair side assistance to the Dentist during dental examinations , procedures and treatment by passing requested instruments to the dentist Charting during dental examination Take and process X-rays Sterilize , prepare and maintain instruments, as well as the Sterilization Area Set up and break down operatories Assist with supply inventory and ordering Maintain a clean and professional office environment Assist with presenting and/or explaining treatment plans Follow all end of day procedures Qualifications Graduated from a Dental Assistant Program preferred. Previous dental assistant experience required. DANB certified preferred. X Ray license for NM Bilingual Spanish/English preferred Available to work a variety of shifts including evenings and Saturdays Job Type: Full-time Job Type: Full-time Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour Work Location: In person
