Teague Dentistry is on the search for a full-time Dental Assistant to join our dental family. COMPETITIVE salary and benefits negotiable depending on experience. Our office hours are Monday-Thursday 8:00-5:30. Responsibilities (include the following but are not limited to:) Prepare patients for treatment while recognizing and addressing patient's anxieties/concerns to ensure their comfort Educate patients on post-treatment care, dental terminology, and preventive practices to promote oral health awareness Take dental x-rays and intraoral photos ordered by the doctor Utilize advanced imagine tools such as 3D scanners to aid in accurate diagnosis and treatment planning Patient charting with Dentrix Taking impressions and fabricating temporary crowns. Assist the doctor with a variety of procedures through 4-handed dentistry Equipment/instrument set-up and break down Keeping the dental operatory clean and well-stocked Manage infection control- prepare and assist in sterilization of instruments and equipment Maintaining accurate patient records Monitor vital signs and medical history to ensure patient safety Collaborate with other members of the dental team to provide exceptional patient care Required: North Carolina dental X-Ray Certification CPR Certification High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) Join us to make a difference in patientsâ lives through compassionate care and technical excellence.
