Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Hygienist to join our established four-doctor comprehensive care dental practice. Pay will be commensurate with experience and personality. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional preventive care, perform dental cleanings, radiographs, SRP, and assist in maintaining a clean and efficient clinical environment. The Dental Hygienist will collaborate with the dental team to deliver comprehensive general dentistry services focused on an adult population. Responsibilities Perform dental prophylaxis, scaling & root planing, and polishing. Conduct patient assessments including vital signs and medical history review. Assist with chairside procedures such as four-handed dentistry and medical imaging. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Maintain accurate documentation of patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Follow infection control protocols using aseptic techniques to prevent cross-contamination. Review medical and dental documentation for accuracy and completeness. Skills Proficiency in Practice Management Systems. Ability to perform comprehensive patient assessments and provide excellent patient care. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and proper documentation review processes. Excellent communication skills to educate patients effectively and work collaboratively within a team environment. Prior experience in dental office or clinic settings is preferred, demonstrating competence in documentation review and medical records management.
