Pediatric EFDA (Expanded Function Dental Assistant) SmileHaus Pediatric Dentistry - Mechanicsburg, PA Why You'll Like Working Here Calm, child-centered pediatric practice with clear systems and support Team-first culture Opportunity to support clinic, in-office IV/GA, and occasional hospital OR days (as scheduled) Structured onboarding and training What You'll Do Provide chairside support with strong pediatric behavior guidance Place and finish sealants and delegated restorative procedures within EFDA scope (including simple composite restorations) Perform coronal polishing as assigned (per certification and protocol) Take digital X-rays and intraoral photos (pediatric techniques) Keep rooms organized and clinical flow moving smoothly Communicate clearly and compassionately with parents/caregivers Support in-office IV/GA days and hospital OR days as part of the clinical team (as scheduled) What We're Looking For Active Pennsylvania EFDA (required) Radiography certification and comfort taking pediatric X-rays Pediatric experience preferred (we will train the right person) Calm, confident chairside manner; behavior skills matter Reliable, team-oriented, and organized Comfortable in sedation/hospital environments (training provided) This Role Is Not High-pressure, speed-only dentistry Independent diagnosis or treatment planning Complex, full-scope EFDA procedures all day (role focuses on preventive + delegated restorative support) Benefits PTO + paid holidays Training/pro development support Positive, steady work environment Apply on Indeed.
