Position Summary We are seeking a skilled and motivated Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and passionate about patient care. This role supports the dentist during clinical procedures, ensures smooth daily operations, and helps create a positive patient experience. Key Responsibilities Assist the dentist during a wide range of dental procedures Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms in accordance with OSHA and infection control standards Take and process dental radiographs (X-rays) Record accurate patient medical and dental histories Provide patient education on oral hygiene, post-operative care, and treatment plans Manage chairside duties including suctioning, instrument transfer, and material preparation Take impressions, take scans and photos (as permitted by state law) Ensure patient comfort before, during, and after procedures Maintain accurate clinical documentation in the practice management system Support front office or sterilization duties as needed Qualifications Current Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license in the state of [State] X-ray certification (required) CPR/BLS certification (current or willing to obtain) Minimum 1 year of dental assisting experience preferred Knowledge of dental procedures, terminology, and instruments Familiarity with dental software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental) preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Skills & Attributes Compassionate and patient-focused attitude Strong attention to detail and organization Team-oriented with a positive, professional demeanor Dependable and punctual Willingness to learn and grow within the practice Benefits Competitive hourly pay (based on experience) Paid time off and holidays Dental benefits for employee and family Supportive and collaborative team environment Opportunities for professional growth We look forward to you joining our team!
