Bates Family Orthodontics is an orthodontic practice in the Lynchburg area that provides orthodontic treatment to children, adolescents, and adults. What This Role Is All About As a Treatment Coordinator, you are the bridge between clinical excellence and patient confidence. You’ll help patients and parents clearly understand their orthodontic journey—financially, emotionally, and practically—while creating an experience that feels personal, encouraging, and stress-free. Your Day-to-Day Welcome new patients and families with warmth and professionalism Present customized orthodontic treatment plans in a confident, relatable way Clearly explain financial options, insurance benefits, and payment plans Help patients feel comfortable and excited about starting treatment Coordinate scheduling and new starts with efficiency and attention to detail Work closely with our doctors and clinical team to ensure a seamless patient experience Uphold the Bates Family Orthodontics standard of excellence, kindness, and integrity Who You Are A strong communicator who genuinely enjoys helping people Confident, organized, and detail-oriented Punctual and self-driven (our hours are M-Th, 7:30am-4:30pm ). Comfortable discussing treatment and finances with clarity and empathy Comfortable with learning to take dental records (3D radiograph, 3D intraoral scanning, and dental intraoral photography) Positive, coachable, and team-focused Orthodontic or dental experience preferred, but not required for the right personality Prior experience in a sales/service role is helpful.
