Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow within our dental clinic. This position requires a blend of clinical skills and EMR skills, making it essential for the candidate to be well-versed in various dental procedures and office systems. Duties Assist the dentist during various procedures, including but not limited to endodontics and other dental treatments. Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment before and after procedures. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) using medical imaging techniques. Maintain accurate medical records, ensuring all patient information is up-to-date and compliant with regulations. Monitor vital signs of patients when necessary, ensuring their comfort throughout their visit. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a positive patient experience in the clinic. And more... Qualifications Previous experience in dental assisting or related fields is preferred. Familiarity with dental clinic systems is advantageous. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing medical records. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism. Certification in CPR or Basic Life Support (BLS) is preferred but will cover the cost if needed.
